What is the Long Pick-Up Fee?
The Long Pick-Up Fee is extra pay that you may receive to compensate you for the miles driven to pick-up the rider. You will receive this fee when the trip itself is shorter than the distance driven to the pick-up. Example: You drove 10 miles to pick-up a rider. The rider is only traveling 4 miles away. You will receive the regular trip time and mileage pay (based on ride type) for the 6-mile difference. This helps to reduce your profit loss by lowering your unpaid “empty miles.” Both fixed daily rate and commission mode drivers may receive long pick-up fee ride requests.
